Gifts of Connection
September 29, 2008. I know. Sounds like I’m repeating myself, right? But actually, I’m talking about two different things. Fruits are something we eat and enjoy ourselves. Gifts are there for us to give them away.
The more we stay connected, the more we get in touch with gifts that are…well…beyond what may seem normal. Every person is different. Some people can discern truth when they’re connected. Some can feel their way through really tricky emotional situations with uncanny ease. Some can see into people’s secret places. Some can see dimly (or even occasionally, not so dimly) out beyond the horizon of time.
Right about now, you may be saying to yourself, “Ben, you’ve taken a left turn somewhere. You’ve lost the plot, and possibly even your sanity.” I’m not really talking about being psychic or a fortune-teller. These gifts aren’t trivial like that. They are simply extensions of who we really are. When we’re connected, our brains seem to work differently, more clearly, with less resistance…firing on all pistons, so to speak. We experience more of the universe around us, and since we’re connected with the infinite, we see more than our finite minds are used to.
This is the magic part of the connection that I’ve talked about before. When we’re tapped in to the source, we’re filled with light. We’re beautiful, magnificent, compelling. We are our true selves.
And our true selves have power.
Power to discern fully, power to see clearly, power to understand deeply. This is what really scares us. Not that we’re weak, but that we are infinitely more powerful than we want to acknowledge. We have more responsibility for our lives that we had any idea of. We can do more, jump higher, see farther than we are comfortable with.
This is simply something for us to observe. While we’re connected, what do we seem to do really well? What gifts do others notice in us? We can start to identify what gifts we have to share.
Then it’s simply up to us to share them.

Thank you for always sharing your amazing gift and connecting with us!
You can’t imagine how much we appreciate it!
