Acting Without the Drama

October 26, 2008.  It’s late.  I’ll keep it short.

We had a reading tonight.  Most of our core group of actors were there.  The scripts were great; the actor’s readings were wonderful.

The best part of the evening, however, was the warmth.

Not the warmth of the weather…that was actually a little annoying.  You all know how I feel about heat during the month of October (October, for crying out loud).  I’m talking about the warmth of good conversation, laughter and love.  Tonight we had them in spades.

So, for my blog tonight, I’m simply going to thank everyone that was there.  I love you guys, and I’m glad that you’ve come into my life.  I feel blessed and enriched through my involvement with each and every one of you.

I’ve said it before; I’ll say it again.  Find your family if you haven’t already.

Then spend the rest of your life keeping them close.
