Waiting, or Moving Forward with Patience?

April 23, 2009.  Waiting.  It’s something that I don’t enjoy doing.  It’s also something that I’ve had to learn how to do lately.

I’ve started thinking about the difference between waiting for something to happen and moving forward with patience.  Obviously, most of this business is about making deals.  Those deals typically happen at meetings.  Meetings are typically rescheduled at least once.

In the past, we’ve pretty much put everything on hold while we wait for something miraculous to happen.  Needless to say, it didn’t.

This time, while we have certainly decided to hold off on one or two things that would benefit from a partnership with a big production company, we are moving forward with our other projects.  Patiently?  Well…hmmm.  I would say much better that we have in the past.

And ultimately, that’s all that we can really do, right?

  1. Patience? What’s this patience you speak of? LOL I think everyone could do with more patience. Thanks for the reminder :-)
