Wasted Energy

April 30, 2009.  So, after talking about all the things that we could’ve done differently in our meeting, beating ourselves up a bit (ok, more than a little bit) for not being perfect, we got additional confirmation that we are moving forward with the project.  Things are moving up to the next level.

All that angst for nothing.

And here’s the kicker.  If we had found out that things weren’t going to progress, would all of the chest-beating had really done us any good?

Again, all for nothing.

Well, maybe not for nothing.  It was uncomfortable enough that I don’t want to do it again.  I probably will, since learning is always a process, but I don’t want to anymore.  That’s definitely a step in the right direction.

And that’s life, right?  Taking steps, doing what we can to move forward.  Not epic.  Not magical.  Not jinxed, either.

Just life.  :)

  1. I’m not sure how many events in our lives are actually epic really. I bet not many, but WOW, we sure think they are :-)
