Good Friends and Dance
May 27, 2009. It’s late, so I’ll keep it short.
Tonight, I had a dear friend and his wife come over to have dinner with me and my family. This is someone that I have looked up to for a long time. He and his wife spent time with my family; we shared stories from our time in Spain; we laughed; we enjoyed each other’s company.
It was wonderful.
And then I got to watch one of my all time favorite shows: So, You Think You Can Dance? I’m sure that I will be blogging about the show a lot this season. It is a show that inspires me like really no other show has ever done.
It was a delightful evening.
When my friend left, after several hours of talking about pretty much everything (including what I’m doing right now with the production company), he turned to my children and told them what an amazing thing it was for someone to do what they love.
And he’s right.
I am doing something that is, in its own way, as meaningful to me as what inspires me in the dancers on the show. I love what I do. That means so much to me.
All that remains is to keep doing it!

And don’t forget you inspire us on a daily basis! Glad you had a great time and can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Dance@
